Current progress:

Demonstration of the compressor stage rotating (very loud)

The goal of the jet engine project is to create a working model jet engine for the purposes furthering my understanding of the functionality of these engines and improving my machining abilities, and ability to machine parts to a given tolerance/accuracy.

Currently this project is work in progress as shown with the main parts of the compressor stage being completed and functional, including the rotor and housing sections.

My next major milestone for this project will be the machining of the turbine and turbine stator, both of which need to be metal parts and are highly complex due to the required fan blade geometries.
